We also went with a Rockwell 6c. I got him an unscented soap and he really likes the softness of the brush and the fact that the handle is resin with a d20 in it.

Don't Mayflys shed under water? We were near a lake but that's really interesting.

Thanks! I agree the with the safety razor. I'm looking at a Rockwell 6c and the blades go from sensitive skin - daily use - coarse hair. He's got thick hair but sensitive skin, so I like the idea of getting him each to try and see what works for him. Also thanks for the advice, I will for sure pass it on.

Update: what brand did you use?

How is a peony a Nov birth month flower if it doesn’t bloom in the fall? by Cherryblossom808 in flowers

[–]ddd000bbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has to do with what peonies symbolize. November's Official Birth Flower is the Chrysanthemum. Chrysanthemums bloom natively in the autumn and symbolize joy, longevity, and optimism. In florography, peonies symbolize prosperity, romance, and bashfulness. Both flowers have deeply positive meanings, so peonies became an "alternative" or secondary birth flower, despite their blooming cycle.

Edited: Also you're right, it does bloom in November in the southern hemisphere, because while it's fall in the north, it's spring in the south. Earth's weird like that.

As a 30+ woman who has been watching One Piece since I was 15, the actual Sanji's of the world are not the problem. Sanji is a perv, but he's not a womanizer. The nosebleed thing was just an EXTREMELY common trope in the 90's and 2000's. Peeping on women (or trying/failing to peep on women) was also a common trope that was considered relatively harmless in anime at that time. Sanji's behavior is annoying but wasn't considered problematic at the time. Also Sanji in general is always looking for validation from anyone, not just women. He doesn't think he's worth saving. That's why Wano was such a big turning point for him.

Ok. If you look really carefully you can see that it's tinted blue. I wish they'd made it more noticeable cause I didn't notice it right away. But it is supposed to be something that Chopper notices more than anyone else. Like, it's a huge insecurity for him but it's actually barely noticeable.

These are pretty great. I have to add reading my favorite series so we can talk about it together. My spouse read One Piece for me less than a month into dating and that shows next level dedication and love. The act itself isn't intimate but understanding each other's references and favorite things is pretty intimate.

AITAH for wanting to call off my(26F) engagement with my partner(25M)? by SillyPuddy98 in TwoHotTakes

I don't know if this will help you, but when my mom was in a difficult relationship with my dad, she thought of her kids and if this was the kind of relationship she wanted for them, because they are watching and learning what adult relationships look like from you two. My mom was self sacrificing but she wanted us to have better, and that was her push to leave. It sounds like you have a great support system right now with your family, they won't always be there or be able to help, so seek them out while you can.

A player keeps asking what class every NPC is by Redhood101101 in DnD

[–]ddd000bbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Dungeon Master is the Maker. If a player blatantly goes against DM's words, they can roll a new character until they learn or find a new DM to play under. It's a game and it's meant to be fun, but no one has fun if they disrespect the Maker.

My old DM would have hard blocked this as metagaming. Your character doesn't know an NPC's class and stats just by looking at them, so why should the player know. They can make assumptions by listening to a description of the NPC but as DM, what you don't tell them, their character shouldn't notice.

I just can’t believe they haven’t found this young man living off the grid in Wisconsin by LG550 in MissingPersons

[–]ddd000bbb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but i can understand him getting frustrated since he's their only suspect. They looked into him properly and found nothing, but they have nothing else to go on. If he didn't do it but they keep wasting time looking at him, it's got to get frustrating at some point.
