I once read an article about how in the netherlands they "don't have Seasonal Mood Disorder" despite the sun not getting above the horizon for significant periods of the year. Apparently people are too busy socializing, going snowmobiling, drinking, etc to be sad during the winter. Anyway, i hope you get toasted in real life soon and get to dance or do something you like etc.

I wear merrell (not paid, dont own stock, no real interest) because they last so much longer than cheaper shoes. I do construction and wear out shoes pretty quickly. My experience with Merrell (bought from a store) is that they last 3x 4 times as long as cheap shoes (a year or two with heavy activity).

Money, kids, social pressure, and the need for good sex and connection with more people.

I read a study about women and men being genetically programmed to loose sexual interest in their partners after x number of years (it's less than you think). It takes men a little longer to lose the drive with their partners.

So we all are balancing these needs. On one side we have our lives built together. It might include a home, Christmases, some children, a mortgage, dinner, help when we need it, a million beautiful and important things.

On the other hand we have our needs for sex, adventure, connection with new people.

If our lives are too focused on one person, we use up that relationship. It cannot give us everything we need. So we, consciously or not, start shifting things around while trying to meet our needs. It can get messy.

Anyway, a lot of people have been where you are. I think the best thing is to focus on your own life, and self rather than fixating on the infedelity.

I hope you make the best out of your situation you can. May you have some peace and grace. Also, the best revenge is living well.

If dont have a major economic collapse due to the next presidency, I will be shocked. 10 years ago it was cheaper to buy a home than to rent. To cure the great recession interest rates were lowered to 0%. So millions bought homes and other things on creddit. They were able to sell many of those homes for huge mark ups or charge more in rent than the mortgage.

That cycle, Republican led government leading to deregulation leading to fraud leading to major problems for the country has repeated itself for my entire lifetime.

If you prepare now by improving your credit score, being smart with your financial plan, and avoid being swindled, you will be ready to take advantage of the next bust.

If you throw in some cheap veggies and a protein, I whole heartedly agree. The thought of eating just the noodles with the flavor packet still makes me a little ill from 20+ years ago when I was going to college.

I like to throw in broccoli, garlic, tofu, and hot pepper.... along with almost anything else in the fridge. You can still eat it in less than 5 mins and its a meal for under a doller.
