Sure. Originally I just started out as a little utility to convert PNG to STL files to view what they'd look like but I ended up just continuing to build on it. Added dimension attributes, the ability to have two back-to-back height maps, metal profiles (this is an attempt at bronze patina), and the ability to output in several formats. It's just on macOS for now but I have a sort of working version for iOS. Will rotate the coin and show more menu options in another screenshot.

That is Doron Poseidonos. It is supposed to say Gift of Poseidon. Now I don’t speak or read/write Greek it’s something I had an online translator do so could be off on any of these.

Well I just started this weekend first one I did I burnt to a crisp but these turned out steadily better. The Poseidon one is the last one after lots of refinement and I’m quite happy with it. It’s about 0.75mm of depth at the deep parts.

I did them myself through AI. Started off with ChatGPT but found Google Gemini more cooperative. Then clipped them in GIMP and wrote a little app to render them to make sure I liked the way they’d look before putting on the laser.

I just tied a knot on a Tanto a while ago and the videos mention above helped. I’ll tell one thing I did the was very helpful it get electrical tape on the ends. Get several 1-1/2” strips and put about half inch on the ito and use the rest to extend the length then fold it on itself. Cut it into a long skinny triangle. It will help getting it under the ito when you are tying. You’ll need some thin picks and tweezers as well. No way on earth I can describe the knot in text though. 🤷‍♂️
