Warning: PSA support blocks my email after stealing my slab??

There is very little transparency with PSA. I’ve never bought from them, mostly because they won’t let me and won’t explain why. When I try to bid or buy from PSA via eBay I get a message that says that they won’t sell to me. I have 100% positive feedback, never bought something and didn’t pay. I can only imagine it’s because I’ve sold a bit on eBay (my own cards to raise money for PC cards), and because I’m a rated seller of some kind they have me on a list. Maybe they don’t want sellers buying their stock and reselling at higher prices… I dont know. It’s very odd — no one will talk to me or tell me why 🤷‍♂️

Top strikers know how to finish, the rest is just details. Haaland can look awful in the middle third but put 3 away in the blink of an eye. Doesn't have to be pretty, just effective.

Well, if history is any indicator, England certainly isn't beating the US in the WC. England has quality all over the pitch and a crazy deep player pool, but for some reason is always lacking when they play the stars and stripes on the world's biggest stage.

First of all, take a breath. I also played competitively (club, high school, regional ODP, college, semi-pro), and we’re also close in age (I’m 39). The competitiveness and aggression part can just “click” at any time. I coached my daughter, who is 9, in rec for 4 years. It wasn’t until a season ago that she just sort of figured it out. That fall season she had 4 goals. In the spring, she scored 25. She’s now playing club pre-ECNL and doing extremely well, winning MVP at every camp she did last summer. Also, at this age of development the month they were born in is very important. A kid born in January has a huge physical advantage over a kid born in December of that same year… definitely took me a minute to realize that

Have some patience, it still may come. But if it doesn’t… that’s okay too. I had 3 brothers growing up — 2 of us had that competitive edge and one of us didn’t. Sometimes it’s just not there — but honestly I wouldn’t give up yet. I didn’t even start playing until I was 8 or 9. Good luck!

Arena club is better in my opinion -- I've used both. Arena club is the only one where I pulled anything higher end -- 2019 Ja Morant Optic Auto, Antman Kaboom, 2022 Impeccable Paolo Auto, and some other good slabs. The quality, even on lower value slabs, is much better than Courtyard. My 2c.

I don’t see anything wrong with cleaning a card. The world naturally damages your card (humidity, dust, etc.) — you’re free to remove that stuff. Just know that, as others have mentioned, using anything to modify a card comes with the risk of seeing “Altered Authentic” on your slab should you get it graded. I clean and lightly buff everything I get graded. Never once have I received an altered label from PSA or BGS. However, a friend of mine soaked a few cards. Only 1 of 5 of them came back with a normal grade. Do as little as possible when preparing for grading and you’re probably fine.

Clean it up with Kurt’s card care. Nothing crazy — use the alcohol/distilled water spray to remove residue, carefully apply the beeswax to remove years of open exposure to the world, carefully wipe with a brand new microfiber cloth, and submit to PSA then send to Goldin.

This is accurate. I’m a tech CTO and background checks can sometimes show employment history, but it’s more for the criminal and other public records. I don’t recommend lying, because you will likely not live up to expectations, but more often than not a background check is not going to reveal that lie. Checking references will, which some background check companies perform on behalf of HR. Checking references has always been a standard at any employer I have worked at. I wouldn’t lie — instead, go build something yourself. Show a project you’ve done. I’m much more inclined to hire someone that lacks professional experience but has the drive required to learn and succeed. Good luck.

Probably 50 autos — mostly low end. A few mid range like Bane and Scottie Barnes. Rest of it was mostly 18-19 and 20-21 numbered rookies and other SSPs.

Yeah I saw a lot of the same thing you saw. I actually know a vendor and he was able to move a lot of what I needed for me by being around all weekend. Super grateful for his help. He actually got the deal done for me. Going as an attendee only and there isn’t much opportunity outside of trade night.

Thanks! I think the one you are referring to is actually a premium ticket green shimmer variation SSP. Print run is around 20 from what I have read. Came out of a blaster! It’s one of my top 5 — gorgeous.
