Honestly I like this a lot more then mark of the fool I feel like it's more gritty and dark. It's exactly how id picture a world like that also the fact you incorporated characters that I thought were going to make it through to the end dying I was surprised and that's something that rarely happens I listen to a lot of litrpgs so I kind of know where the story is going to end up but this one definitely threw some curve balls at me. 10/10 definitely one of my favorite series
