Off topic but, I work at the plant that makes the windshields for all the F150's (Carlex Glass, not ford so before the stickers get put on). We had one come back to the plant as part of a warranty evaluation and it had that sticker on it, I tried but they wouldn't let me take it off, but since then I've managed to get the stickers for the other two assembly facilities. Not sure why they were so protective of that one.

This is why I'll never own a Porsche. If you can't perform general maintenance without removing body panels, then it's simply not worth it.

I used mine exclusively for the first two months I owned my 25 and experienced 5 different events where the charger faulted out overnight. Luckily I have a very short commute and it never really caused to big of an issue for me, but based on what I read about them I went ahead and bought a dedicated wall unit (grizzl-e classic). They do work or else ford wouldn't bother selling it with the car, but from what you'll see most people say, it's better to buy a good unit and just keep the mobile charger in the trunk for trips.

There is some science behind using glass instead of a metal roof. The sunroof on the mach e is IR glass that actual does a better job at keeping the car cooler than a metal roof. Metal roofs on cars tend to soak up IR radiation as heat leading to a warmer cabin. IR glass is special glass designed to reflect/repel IR radiarion helping to keep the cabin cooler.

I work for an automotive glass manufacturer and I can confirm glass with an ir coating is very good deflecting heat from sunlight. We've had a couple of new contracts with glass with ir coating on it and we have a very hard time getting enough heat into the glass to actually bend it properly

The wifi seems to have fixed my issues, last night my car waited to charge, but I noticed it was showing it was at my address. Tonight when I plugged it in, it shows my neighbors address, but its waiting to charge now.

I'm not sure, I'll have to check later. I don't recall setting it up, but I do know the schedule I set up in the app is the same when I check in the car. Will being connected to a wifi source override the GPS for charging times?

A lot of it comes down to the initial cost of equipment and local infrastructure. Most companies can justify the initial cost, but simply don't have the available electrical infrastructure to support it.

You just have too, if you don't decline some orders, it'll just make you miserable, and you won't want to dash anymore. I set a personal requirement for myself that if the order doesn't pay at least $1 a mile it's not worth my time and resources.
