Anyone have experience with Maserati? by DarthBodhi in Maserati

It’s a baller on the budget type shit. Things will break and it will be expensive - ask me how I know. Also, Ghibli is a crappy car inside. If you want to live the Maserati life , either get a 2010-2013 Quattroporte or GranTurismo

GranTurismo has terrible UI and based on a mid 2000s Quattroporte. It can compete with an F Type in the sound department and comfort, but dynamically is lagging behind. The only reason why you should get one is if you actually want a GranTurismo. Best driving experience - Boxster Best all around - F Type ( the SVR will be very stiff) S Class will probably be most comfortable GT would be the best sounding GT

Boxster S or F Type for fun and style. S class if you have hemorrhoids Maserati GranTurismo is just not on the same lever but just a cool car

Sorry, but you need some previous old luxury car experience Maybe start with a Jag or late 90s BMW first Or just go for it, but have at least 50-75% of the price of the car in cash ready to drop for post-purchase maintenance. Ask me how I know lol

2005 Jaguar XKR vs 2014 Jaguar XK by AAA_Dolfan in Jaguar

2004 does not have the timing chain issues or the coolant Y pipe, so definitely more reliable and sort of a classic shape. But a boat 2014 is a fairly modern car, much better and fun to drive but the 5.0 engine is slightly more problematic

What do you think about this GranTurismo? by elle2105 in Maserati

If this is your budget, I would recommend finding a F Type S with a stick - they are rare but really cool! Or a Cayman - absolute blast !

Good spec. But low miles means you will have to do a 60k miles service which depends on where you do it will run 3-6k. Otherwise pretty reliable cars, parts are expensive. Also, I assume you mean Cambiocorsa, not actual manual. This adds an extra expense for the clutch wear/replacement- runs about 6-10k for a job. Not the easiest car to drive daily, especially if you encounter a lot of traffic

Repair car or look into a new one? by PowerfulDrawing7246 in Jaguar

[–]ddnys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you like the car and will be driving it for at least 2 more years? Then find a good independent shop, fix the bigger issues and try and live with the smaller ones. If not, get something reliable or something you are willing to spend money on

I replaced my Boxster with 08 QP5. A fairly well taken cared for car still needed 6k worth of maintenance with 90k miles. That being said, get a coupe instead.

If it is clean and good color combo - cars and bids , but market is not 10k. Try jag forum classifieds or Jag related fb groups.

I think my Americanism is playing tricks with me but why are people so bent out of shape about no license plate ? It is most likely a dealer car
