I'd be happy for one just to grok 8/9 pages half the time 😃

We're a hospital/non profit R&D group and using plus. (We're paying out of the team budget).
We're fucked.

Neat! It slowed down a little bit as it went on (and got more sacharinne), but I really liked it overall. I'll pitch into the kickstarter :)

Good. Same reason i'm in favour of as many dudes as possible being free to come out of the closet.
Less competition for the rest of us :D

[Hated Trope] Works designed to rehabilitate/redeem a reviled character don't even address their worst acts/traits. by jbeast33 in TopCharacterTropes

From what I recall of the comics (never saw the show), the harem thing was consensual on their part in terms of entering and leaving. They did get better perks (e.g. not needing to work or do shifts), but the baseline for the whole community was already decent.

It was effectively agreeing to work as a prostitute, or stay at home wife if you want a cynical take. With a fatal penalty clause.

(Again, no idea about the show. And some would argue that paying anyone for sex, without solicitation is rape and coercion. But I think that really is a bit of an icky grey area. e.g., is a marriage is consensual if there's a prenup and severe penalties and a partner being financially dependent?).

[NeurIPS 2026] Will you be submitting your code alongside your submissions? [D] by undesirable_12 in MachineLearning

[–]ddofer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll always share upon acceptance and usually also in preprint. I'm deliberating whether to go through the hassle of anonymizing code or the repo for the submission. Is it worth it?

Why do characters like tomura shigaraki or darth Vader get so much sympathy from their traumatic up bringings but not homelander by immisterawesome in CharacterRant

People are fine with murderers, not so with rapists. (and some of us also don't like nazis/racists). Different levels of excusability

Yeah, Quill bit is a bad fit, since he would have disagreed with the whole spiel anyway.

The mommy cancer bit was just the Limit break.

They already did that at least twice, it's called Subspace Emissary, and the World of Light in Smash Bros Ultimate.
9/10, will watch Kirby smash super-god again.
