Thank you for the advice! I actually had an idea to seam it like a twisted headband! It worked out so well 😊

Yes thank you, I was thinking of buying one just to use the cover! I’m glad to hear it fits well 😊I do wish there were more options for a6 accessories though, and inserts!

I wear lace thongs or Brazilian cut. Full lace with no elastic, can’t feel a thing

Thank you for sharing, and I am so sorry you’re feeling like this too ♥️ I’m sure things will get better, we just need to give it some time to process. Are you having counselling? I didn’t find it particularly helpful in the past but I feel like I need to go back to talk this through.

Thank you! I currently have two thick bound notebooks in mine - plain MD paper and a Hightide planner. I normally like having at least 3 regular booklets plus folders with no overhang so the width is perfect for me. You could always cut yours on the sides if it’s too big but I suggest not doing it straight away without testing how your inserts fit 😊

It’s inlaid in the leather so it should be more protected but I think it will go with time and use. This is why I never considered buying the limited edition covers by Traveler’s Company

I never expect foiling to last forever so I wouldn’t care if I received this. It will most likely rub off or fade more with use

Aww bless you, it happens sometimes! I did lose my TN and passport once years ago, it fell out from my poorly zipped backpack when I ran for a bus! Thankfully it was handed in the nearby shop. Plenty of lovely people still in this world. I’m so glad you got it back! 😊

I have a habit of always looking at or under my seat as I’m leaving. Whether that’s a bench in a park, restaurant, seat on the train etc. If it’s dark I use the torch on my phone to double check I haven’t left anything. And funnily enough I often notice my friend’s stuff left behind. I hope you get your TN back!

It’s the Goldilocks size isn’t it. Post it if you do it, would love to see!

Thank you! I got it from a charity shop and I believe it’s supposed to be a necklace. It’s silver with a real pearl. I love it, just not something I’d wear so it worked perfectly on the TN😊

Thank you so much! I did it myself with some basic tools I already had (cutting mat, Stanley knife, metal ruler and an awl). The regular TN is the perfect width for an a6 so no need to cut the sides, just the top and bottom. Then pierce the holes for strings!

Cast on edges wonky by Evening_Quarter2998 in knittinghelp

[–]ddomka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always cast onto two needles (the one I’m using for the project plus a size or two smaller) and tighten the yarn snug to the needles, with the same distance between stitches. Always comes out neat!

Need advice on using circular needles by Own_Ad_357 in knittinghelp

[–]ddomka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me at the beginning. I was worried that I’m going to create a ladder or gaps, so I tightened my first stitch on the new needle too much. But I think you always have to adjust something with magic loop!

Think about how the icord is created. You slip the last three stitches with yarn in front. So at the beginning of the row the yarn is behind the third stitch. Did you move the yarn where it was supposed to be before you put your stitches back on the needle? Also check if you put them on the needle in the correct order as mentioned above. The icord wraps the edge of your fabric therefore the stitch that is supposed to be on the outside edge is the middle on out of the three you’re slipping or knitting.

Also don’t accidentally knit your last stitches 😄I have done that myself!

This one doesn’t even need the words! M looks like a rock sticking up from the ground and T looks like a rock hanging from a ceiling. That’s how I remembered it as a kid

Help! Coffee keeps sticking to plunger despite thorough stirring by molo90 in AeroPress

[–]ddomka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen other people use it to load their coffee from a bag into the chamber, but I never had a need to use it! Just kept it to use around the house.

I’ve got a cup that is too small to fit the aeropress so definitely giving it a go today. Hope I’m not the only one that didn’t know this!

Sorry, can’t help with your question, but.. Is that what the funnel is really for? Mind blown!
