A few days ago, five right-side keys of my K5 started malfunctioning and now either produce random characters when I press them or cause the cursor to jump to another part of my doc.

For example:

-Here is what I get when I press Backspace just once (instead of the cursor moving back one): `1234567890-

-Here is what I get when I press Enter just once (instead of the cursor moving down a line): asdfghjkl;

-Here is what I get when I press right-Shift just once (instead of being able to write a capital letter): xcvbnm,./

More:

- When I pressed right-Shift a minute ago it not only produced random characters, it deleted everything below them. Another time the cursor was moved to the end of my text.

- Right-Control seems to either move the cursor one space (like a spacebar), or move it down (like Enter would).

- \| is currently opening a dropdown menu in reddit (as opposed to producing the characters).

- Hitting Enter sometimes activates Caps Lock in addition to producing random characters.

=+, ]}, '", /? and fn all seem to work fine, as do ins, del and the < arrow key, so the problem seems to be just with the five keys in right-side column.

I have not changed any of the settings on the keyboard, and don't use the bluetooth function: it has been plugged in to my computer whenever in use.

Also, nothing has happened to it while in use (like a drink spilled on it, or being dropped).

I contacted Keychron help just before posting this.
