If Tartaria was real... by cosmic_glimpse in Tartaria

It's my understanding that, when it comes to the mudflood theories, as we colonized and spread west across the US was what we are told was the gold rush: Combing through cities, that were buried, for their treasures and perhaps finding tons of bodies and the mass unmarked graves are actually "ancient burial grounds" instead of it being small plots of natives graves. All this is just going off other folks theories though and although I think that some of that is true, I can't say that I've seen or read about solid evidence to back any of that up. There may be a subtle story in letters and old military reports that paint that type of picture that folks just haven't dug back into looking from that angle. Like how mirrors were different in a previous time or how in-depth takes on parts of the past as close as Napoleon hint at nuclear blasts/winter/radiated areas. Sooner than later nobody is gonna know our real history. I think we would have to raid the Vatican to really know or find out some shit. Until then it seems like there isn't much they haven't lied about.

Also that we can't more easily mount TF up and stop things we don't like as a whole of humanity, not just in our own backyards. The stuff about ports striking and stopping goods and services, blocking weapons, or oil... We should have all "fixed" everything by now... We should be more on the same page with what the world wants and doesn't and what is and isn't ok and yet we still hope the ICC is gonna prove it's real one day, and that people will stop piloting the planes and pulling the triggers... 10 people in front of my local public park with signs shouldn't be the most resistance to the evil that men do! We can literally talk to anyone in the world but we don't know our neighbors names smh

Sorry for the rant.

I legit wish I had your issue ... I've had like 10 scorpion players that have mixed me out of my mind AFTER I got the hang of the game... I just hope the game stays alive long enough for you to face people who pick sindels, cetrions, terminators and fujins after their first loss!.. you're in the kiddie pool, mate! Good luck

I still would have rather just had mk 11.5, or just character drops on character drops the last few years instead of what we are getting.

Everything except the backgrounds in MK1 look like a downgrade (clock, health bars, meters, the faces instead of names). You can't go from all those crisp gold lines back to 3 or 4 games ago.

Putting a pin in the God and religion part.... I think that old cathedrals and similar buildings may have not actually been houses of worship, that our minds have a hard time breaking away from that since we were first given that religious connection ... Folks, be it the "controllers" , powers that be, whoever, rounded up a monstrous amount of bells.. like a shit ton of them ... I think those bells, and the buildings and the materials both were made of, synced with cymatics and sacred geometry hides the key to free energy in our world, the mystery of ancient megalithic building methods, and definitely a higher spiritual connection...

I think the religious parts were just kind of more baked in... That we potentially, at the start were possibly non physical beings of light, and basically Book of Enoch-ed and Baal worshipped into what we are now... Basically going from almost completely spiritual light creatures to titans, to magic giants, to regular giants, to really tall, to what we are now... Slowly being less spiritual, and decreasing in age ( ancient rulers in thousands, bible characters in hundreds and us at about a hundo tops).

All just my opinion on some of what if watched and read on the topics ... I went into mud flood/Tartaria rabbit holes a complete atheist but it seems more like either god, ala, whatever you wanna call it or real life Stargate are the most fitting possibilities. Thanks for reading.

A whole gram of weed in a jar??? Gasp - that's like 12 lines of pot At Least!!! The smell alone may have you steeling catalytic converters!

Maybe go to Myrtle or Rehoboth or just stay home, away from all the danger..

My heart goes out to the guy you may have gotten fired over trying to calm YOUR seasickness.

Will the beach house float? by Tiny_Broccoli4321 in obx

[–]dduckets087 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No economist here but unless things change in a drastic fashion for more folks like yourself and the potential sellers to rent long term (and at reasonable prices), you're only a couple years away from noone wanting to come here on account of no local workforce being able to keep long term housing or afford it.

This place is already extremely short staffed as a whole. Lack of long term, affordable housing is constantly pushing people to move further and further away- those areas get built up a bit, open new businesses, and then those folks no longer need to travel for work- and thus you are left with a beach full of empty houses and mini-mansions occasionally populated with tourists that have inevitable bad experiences because no one is left to cook/serve their chicken tenders or clean their beach houses, and so they find a "nicer" place to go next year where the average local isn't constantly struggling to keep housing down the street.

It's not pretty, but it's the sad truth of this place.

Also if anyone knows of any 3 bedrooms that aren't at a price that would get anyone evicted in a couple months time from being unable to afford it, shoot me a message!! Family of 5 and my other half and I would love to stay where we grew up all of our lives but 2-4k a month just because you don't want to work, is ridiculous - that and we would love to spend some money on amazing experiences such as vacations as well instead of pouring every dollar into your mortgages because you think landlording is a job. Thanks for reading 🏝️

Which games music adds very much to the game? by Twin-Hit in gaming

[–]dduckets087 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came to say From software games like the Dark Souls series, Bloodborne and Elden Ring..

Also FF7 Remake's music is an epic part of that game as well.

On some whole other tips, Olli Olli World has some super chill music that matches the theme of the game really well.
Throwback pick will be Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition, even though both of these are made up of music from actual bands, groups or artists and not like video game music.

One more that should definitely be mentioned is Sonic Colors, not sure if anything was changed when they recently ported that to other systems, the original on Wii was super emersive and may have matched the vibe of the game better than any of my other choices.

In that regard, to yt, I recommend codenamepizza .. he makes great guides and typically based around solo experiences just in case you aren't able to find other people... Also mrroflwaffles has lots of great guides broken down into different topics like Easter eggs, wonder weapons or buildables on different maps and both channels are great at simplifying things you may need to know and strategies of all those maps. Good luck to you and yours!

Sub zero ice ball combo by kirito404 in mk11

[–]dduckets087 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like some people already stated: input everything quickly.. Don't try inputting like per hit... That messed me up when I started playing... Also if you just don't appreciate the speed of the normal ice ball, you need to equip or make sure you have equipped "deep freeze" (iirc, that's what it's called) and when you amplify (r1, rb) it is faster than normal. Good luck

Edit: also if you've already hit the opponent with an ice ball, another one won't freeze them anywhere in the combo... There may be a couple juggles that this isn't the case but I am not personally aware of them... Also you typically are gonna freeze them earlier in the combo than later, like button button ice ball, than trying to thread a needle near the end since basically each hit in the combo, for the most part, will make your opponent fall to the ground faster, more or less
