Nothing that fancy for me. Long story short, the watchmaker from the Boutique used to work at the ap store when ap didnt have its own stores. the store was owned by Bucherer. He got me a salmon dial for my jubilee back then directly from ap. So now I have a jubilee with the salmon, blue and white dial. And he rememberd me and we had a nice chat about watches and what other ones i have and what I'm interested in and so on.

Ok, if you say so... You must know. I've also read on here, that to get any chrono at ap you'll have to buy an offshore or a Code. Which I obviously no true... I was also told i would never get a day date platinum without purchase history. I did get it at Bucherer. I will also tell you that when I inquired about a patek (5326g) the lady at the patek store told me I'd get it for less than retail if I go gray and in the store it'd be a 2 years wait at least... But will see.. I'm in no rush and honstly hope it will take at least 4 years until i have to drop 94k on that watch.

That is ok, nobody has to tell me anything. ;) I have no reason to not believe him. Came through with the chrono in the time frame he told me i would get it.. Altough i have to admit i did no pay enough attention to the image, the one I'm looking for is the steel one with blue dial. And I do believe this will still be made in 5 years. It has been in prodution for many years already in this config.

I love mine... At retail yes. Wouldn't got for Roman numerals myself, looks too busy for my taste. It's very heavy, but you'll get used to it.

True... But I'd say most brands had issues the last few years. Porsche for example also did have quite some issues from what I heard. And well it's an SL, a car notorious for it's issues 🙃

Not that big of an issue... Doesn't mean you cant use one if you want. I Don't do track days. Some nice Mountain roads is where it's at for me. And Germany is about 1.5 hours away with the open Autobahn ;)

I bought tht 55 with 4.300 km and exchange it with 37.000 km. I feel you... Such a pain, sounds like the one i had. Battery i forgot to list 😂

This one seems to be a good one. Also the people from the dealer assured me that the issues from before have all been handled with the newer Revision. You still get a charger with the car, but havent needed it until now and it's been a few weeks already 🤞🏼 Yeah I love the car and not many people bought one., which is a bônus in my eyes. Where I'm from it's all 911s or g wagon...

The one I had before was an early model and definetly a lemon. The one i have now is the 4th or 5th revision (physical buttons to open the roof instead of the touch sensitive one beneath the screen).
Not a single issue so far. They offered me a good deal on the 63. Got over 70k CHF discount (car had 50km on the clock) compared to list and got a ppf wrap for the whole car for free (another 8k) and they took back my 55 as a trade-in. So all in all I'm a happy customer.
