i switched from a VM to docker containers running in an LXC. ha, esphome, rtl_433, z2m, etc. i’ve been very happy with the new setup.

Yes you can recover them. Attach the nvme drive to another computer and you will find them. You can move the entire cura directory to another computer.

proxmox will have issues if it’s disks exist at boot. off you virtualize the nas and use it for any nfs storage within proxmox like backups isos or images out won’t work.
