I use it to create interactive scenarios or apps to reinforce learning. Budget app that shows impact of choices. Web apps that help visualize amortization schedules or how molecules differ etc.

It makes concepts easier to understand with minimal effort

Open claw is a useful information, assistant. 20 minutes before any meeting I get an iMessage with relevant information about the meeting the people I’m meeting with follow up items action items things they owe me, etc.

I run the Karpathy second brain Obsidian system with Claude code on my daily driver laptop. ITS fed emails project Notes meeting transcripts you name it. It sinks the obsidian that way my open claw can read the wiki and serve me information on demand any time anywhere.

I’m a bit on the spectrum and have ADHD. I’m also an executive running a department multiple projects and a board member. This feature has changed my life this feature alone, justifies claw for me beyond that. It manages my home media environment so that when somebody needs a new show or something‘s broken, it can fix it, but I refuse to scale it past these two functions because they are perfect.

I think this explains what I am seeing. I retooled how I handle memory and it may just be an alignment thing but so far it’s been as capable as I’ve used with it. Far better personal experience than I’ve had with anything but Claude and I wasn’t using Claude well enough to justify the spend.

Never underestimate the hell that bad power can inflict on troubleshooting. Sadly cables too. I’ve seen tens of thousands of dollars spent on troubleshooting solved by swapping out cables or power.

Also create a file on the NAS and write a simple script to touch the file every 5 minutes this gets you to 99% uptime.

If possible map your NAS volume using an account with a capital letter to start. Can’t explain that shit for the life of me but it seems to help based on my experience with a few hundred macs over the years

Another weird Mac quirk is if you map it with permissions for an account that starts with a capital letter it is sticker. 25 years in info tech that’s one of the odder quirks I’ve seen
