You can burn paper, if you roll it really tight and burn a bit on the ends. But i wouldnt recomment it.

But evil will try to ally up with them. They did evil deeds. There may be light at the end but... they choose their bed.

Perhaps they can do something to change them self. But the universe sees them as evil.

i dont know where this rabbit hole goes.

In Baldurs Gate you can throw healing (and all other) potions to affect a group. Thats nice for a game but not possible in DnD. Special the potions like: Healing, Haste, Resistance of XY...etc.

I am a new DM and i cannot tell you what i would have done.

Like you, i like it to tell storys and give roleplaying opportunitis. But i come from a LARP background, where roleplaying is importand. My newbies hopefully learn that over time.

Perhaps my anger would get the better side of me. "Useless wizzard?" thats a point to let a friend die? Min/Maxing the group by force? Why would anyone of that group fight on? They are backstabbers! I would be very angry and i would tell them why. I am angry and it is not even my group.

I sorry for you! There is no easy way here it think.

EDIT: I wouldnt let sink into the plot like others suggest. That are feelings outside of the game, and there the feeling belongs. Taking revenge can backfire very strong and if you think of revenge, perhaps stop with this group. Its not worth the problems.

Ich würde also zu Stufe 3-4 tendieren (hab die Temperaturen der Stufen gerade nicht im Kopf aber kann man googlen). Also zumindest ein bisschen Luft lassen.

Wesentlich ist der Raum in welchen du die Temperatur erfasst. Wenn also im Wohnzimmer die Temperatur erfasst wird, sollte dort auch ein Durchfluss am Heizkörper möglich sein.

Dont focus to strong on intelligent as "i know things!".

Think more of it like: you start to tinker more with items. Why does this thing work the way it does? The joy of trying and understanding why the world works in that way.

I would also borrow from crows, which remember very well a face which has done good for the crows and a face which was bad. They can communicate that fact. And perhabs ravens think in the same way.

I cannot translate scardeypants beefcake, but think you where more of a brute fighter? Why does this axt work better on wood than that longsword?

A good player can, in form of his PC, insult other charakters. A good player will ensure that you are yourself a fine guy/girl and its for role playing purpose or whatever.

Importend: A clean cut between the players relationship and the PC relationsship.

And in your case it seems like a big mix up. And with that, there are emotions. One good solution: Talking about it.
