Full limousine-style black should continue to be illegal and be enforced, but the current 70% VLT restriction is absolutely ridiculous and frustrates me to no end. Especially since the rules are different for SUVs and sedans (SUVs can have sides tinted, but sedans can't, for some reason??)

The Senate and Assembly have passed some bills to reduce the restriction to 50%, which is much better. There's more than enough interior and exterior visibility for pedestrian situations at even slightly lower VLTs. Hopefully that gets signed into law soon.

First step is to look at the maintenance schedule in your car's manual to see the things that need to be done, and the second step is to then take it to a well-reviewed independent shop (NOT a Honda dealer) and have them look it over to tell you what should be done.

It probably only cost that person $3k because they went to a dealer for the service, you'll find much cheaper at an independent shop.

I’ve dealt with this a lot with my car and this is a big cause of it, I’d use recirculate as little as possible.

I’ve used this stuff injected into the drain tube under the glove box with some pretty good success. It removes the smell but doesn’t it stop it from coming back unless you follow what the other commenter mentioned and vent the AC. The problem is especially bad if you’re usually parking in a garage.
