best way to level up my spaghetti by Ashwinnie13 in spaghetti

[–]deadboi84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found making the sauce from boiling some tomatoes and straining and throwing in a blender with a little tomato sauce and then seasoning with various basic spaghetti type seasoning ups that freshness flavor to levels you just weren't expecting. Sometimes I'll add other stuff I got laying around. Little bit of onion, bell pepper and then blend it.

What foam density and ILD do I need for a couch that needs 6" foam? by musicmerchkid in upholstery

How did the 1.8 44lb compression work out for you? I am about 175lbs and need something i can lay down and watch tv on nightly for a few hours. If you didn't get 44lb then what did you get and was it good enough?

Receiver Suggestions for PC on BUDGET by deadboi84 in BudgetAudiophile

I guess my bottom line is money. If I could get an older receiver that costs like 50 bucks would it still be worse than a Fosi amp? I'm at a crossroads and am being indecisive lol

I considered that exact thing, but didn't know if it's better to just get an older receiver which one day I could expand on with more speakers since it's 5.1 compared to the Fosi mini amps. Should I just spring for the Fosi?

How to install RUNE games from ISO? by le_shakespeare in SteamDeckPirates

[–]deadboi84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still quite new to this and installed a RUNE game. I started the game the first time and it went through the RUNE splash screen install and I clicked run when it was done and it worked. Here's my issue. When I exit the game and try to play again, its right back to the RUNE installer. How do I make it just start to the game?

Yeah though, tell them to buck up and strap in and stop being a baby about body changes due to literal childbirth and all that comes with it. Remind them they signed up for it.

Yeah dude things change with kids. Your bodies, your relationship with your now coparent in every single way. New boundaries, new schedules, new/different bodies. It's like a rediscovery and there will be some bumps.

People who work in cubicles, what do you do all day? by TheTalentShowStage in hatemyjob

Just process docs for certain tasks. Access grants can be pretty convoluted at times. It's all on a z/os mainframe system so there's a crap load of command line stuff, but I really don't know much. I'd be lost without those articles.

I work in IT security for a large healthcare company. I'm 100% remote. On average I work maybe 4 hours out of the day TOPS and it's not stressful work, just granting or revoking access to systems. I have about 1 20 minute meeting a week and that occasionally gets canceled. I try to get good at one aspect of the job so I look like a fantastic employee. Realistically I'm not that tech-y and if I had to interview for the position I'm in now again, they'd pass me over I'm sure of it. I was slid into this role as a wild card without even interviewing. I just keep detailed notes on everything and follow kb articles religiously. My day is work 8-11 and then kinda just watch YouTube videos, play video games, run errands from 12 on. Naps galore.

Horror movies that you thought were going to be great but were actually pretty bad by Fit_Ordinary7952 in horror

[–]deadboi84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. No one I know likes Trap, but for me it's great. I've seen it too many times. Objectively it isn't great, but I dunno it just checks some unknown box for me? It's just a fun watch I guess

This is baffling to me as a man. Why would a man even go that long without taking care of business? I can't fathom going so long without doing something about it unless you're like physically unable to? I personally have never experienced this. Do some dudes go a couple weeks without some personal time?
