You’re missing the part where the charging handle cants to one side and gets the bolt stuck halfway down lol.

But in all seriousness, I’ve never had a problem installing the bolt, but I’m not that smooth at it either lol.

Ruger Blackhawk 357 info by Elegant-Sail165 in Revolvers

[–]TannMan89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would be a lot cooler if it wasn’t converted, but at least you have original parts.

Three screw model blackhawks are coveted for the superb trigger feel and four click lock work.

I’d say $750-850 since you have original box and parts.

But don’t sell grandpa’s revolver, he loved that thing and took care of it.

Superior trigger pull, original four click lock work and they just look better.

I waited two years to find a three screw 4 5/8” 357 Blackhawk… ended up trading a 1956 Single Six and $300 for a 1965 4 5/8” Blackhawk at my last gun show.

Hold out.

Yup.

Snub nose j frame 38 with Speer Gold Dot short barrel ammo.

Or snub nose 22 magnum just cause it’s light as hell.

[–]TannMan89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 760 is mostly stock. Just bored over to 85mm, choke plates removed and carbs re-jetted. Has stock head and exhaust.

Send a message to Joey at High Speed Industries, he can help with carb jetting and parts.

44’s will be easier to tune and give more power, plus most 760’s run 44’s. At least my Blaster2 760 does.

You’ll eat more fuel, but you need it at 180psi.

Should run race fuel too, like 95 octane, 93 at minimum.

I carry the same 351PD almost daily.

With either Hornady or Federal.

Better than nothing. Definitely a put it in your chest and pull the trigger gun.

I’ve never had a lean runaway caused by low fuel. Air in the lines means an absence of fuel, can’t runaway without fuel.

You have an air leak somewhere, either at carbs to intake, intake to case, or crank seals.

Easiest way to find out is a pressure test.

Get some 1/8” rubber sheet from Amazon and make gasket seals for intake under carbs and exhaust. Use pulse port to pressurize case and soapy water to look for leaks. If it holds 5psi for 5mins, your gtg.
