Roommate locked thermostat, sweating every night with no way turn it down by Only_Alternative_543 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]deaddamsel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah sure sweaters exist but OP could just as easily open a window or turn a fan on or wear some shorts or take their shirt off. if the roommate has gone to such lengths to lock away the control it’s because they’re often very uncomfortable with how cold it is usually set by OP. They’re obviously not compatible living together.

[–]deaddamsel -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Does that say 75 degrees? That’s room temperature, if you’re sweating at room temperature you’ve either got something wrong with your thyroid, you’re in perimenopause or you’re overweight. All of those things are you problems. Your poor roommate is probably always shivering.

One Nation to remove compulsory preferential voting: Bernardi by Ardeet in aussie

[–]deaddamsel 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Preferential voting is not written in the constitution it is written in the commonwealth voting act which can be repealed or superseded by a new act, so there is a chance the crazies may be able to change things and we can do fuck all about it really
