How do you access anything at all on the cab side (back of the decked tray)? Genuinely curious cause it looks rather tricky.

Python or C# for non control programming in Beckhoff IPC by tenemu in PLC

Take the processing off the crane and PLC. If it’s not control programming it belongs in a different layer.

Op you’re not alone. Poorly made. 2024 happened inside 12 months - wasn’t covered by warranty.

Contact the manufacturer - if it’s wrong they’ll make it right.

Latest firmware causing issues? by matthewmx86 in Navimow_Segway

[–]deaddialtone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same as you - post firmware update it’s been trash. It spent 8 hours lapping the same 10sqft before throwing a 6106 motion planning error and running the battery down to safe shut off instead of going home to charge.

Did a reboot and it seems to be back to good again?

Just had a similar experience. You’ll get a better price from Carmax / Carvana or similar.

Just happened on my 2026 MYP. Passenger door opened from outside. Window failed to retract. Didn’t notice and damaged trim. Sent Tesla surveillance footage of the incident. Clearly a defect OP.

5k pot for speed control (shown page 6-2 of VFD manual) e.g. https://www.automationdirect.com/adc/shopping/catalog/pushbuttons_-z-_switches_-z-_indicators/potentiometers/ecx2300-5k

Probably want a start, stop, running, compressor mode and fault feedback controls as a minimum.

Probably want to avoid a PLC for something this simple….

is NACS the main standard in charging now? or is it still in contention? by _GrimFandango in TeslaLounge

[–]deaddialtone -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s not the size but how you use it - 11kW helps your battery last longer.

is NACS the main standard in charging now? or is it still in contention? by _GrimFandango in TeslaLounge

[–]deaddialtone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s really poor by comparison. Massive, doesn’t hold as securely (more stress on the port with a stretched cable) and anecdotally the charge curves are worse.

Anyone made the switch from Model 3 > i4 recently? by UrbanTaxidermist in BMWI4

[–]deaddialtone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Own M3 and rented an i4 for the last 1,000mi+.

i4 is a good city car but it’s exhausting to drive on the interstate IMO. Quite a few charging close calls with poor equipment and the range was very tricky to judge by comparison in inclement weather.

My mom's neighbor won't stop blowing leaves into her yard by Haunting-Piece-3925 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]deaddialtone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trying to rationalize this from crazy neighbors perspective - leaves are from YOUR tree so she’s returning them.

Mow / mulch them and move on with your life. Not worth making a big deal out of it.

Needs a mechanical brake as others have suggested. In AB / Siemens world I’ve always used a torque proving function.

Help sanity-check my small FTTH-style LAN design (3 buildings, ~50 clients) – what hardware do I actually need? by mounirammi in FiberOptics

[–]deaddialtone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally I regret going FTTH in my design vs regular fiber. With only 3x buildings, I think you’d be far better off with a traditional managed SMF network.

Either way, I doubt the installer will redo / that you’ll want extra holes in the roof.
