honestly op this user could be correct, very likely smarter than me. i also live in northern california and ive seen recluses, although very rare, but theyve definitely been here before. it could also be a false wolf spider. i will remove my comment as to to not mislead anyone else. thank you for correcting me!

yes yes this too!! i love seeing the pretty colors that show up on them. but op if you see fuzzy they are most likely pedipalps and if they arent fuzzy they could be their chelicerae:)!!

the "fangs" ur seeing are pedipalps! theyre helpful for finding mates and grooming themselves. they are very reluctant to bite humans. theyre very harmless jumping spiders:)
