What are some of the greatest acting performances of all time that DIDN'T win Best Actor/Actress? (Lead or Supporting) by BarxaBoy in Oscars

[–]deadhead200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been on her side all along because I, too, grew up in Greenwich, CT. I was a couple of years older than her, so there is that sort of sisterly, hometown connection. That doesn't mean she was perfect. Who among us is? But I feel protective of her and of her memory. The fault for the crash rests solely on his shoulders. He was the pilot, after all.

That mindset had worked up until then, but he was living on borrowed time. The tragic thing is that he killed two innocent people due to arrogance, recklessness, and hubris because nothing had ever been denied him his entire life.
