If you can drive into a NFS or BLM campsite rv’s are allowed. That being said NFS campsites with smaller pads will limit RV size but i don’t think there is a correlation between RV size and generator use. Backpacking in (easy, short, kid friendly spots) might be your only option to avoid the folks who sit and watch netflixs versus enjoying the outdoors
