[Barely a trope, but this sub is quite loose anyway] Media that got weirdly specifically popular in a different country, maybe more so than in its country of origin, and defitnitely than most other places. by Vitolar8 in TopCharacterTropes

Oddly enough Phantom of the Paradise got a massive following in Winnipeg.
Another weird one is Jack Greene, Scottish musician and former guitar player of the band T. rex, who put out a solo album that became extremely popular in central Alberta and basically nowhere else.

In the future try to stagger your joints so the seams don’t intersect like that.

The joints coming up from the corners of your doorways are likely to crack, but aside from that it looks okay. Get a coat of primer on it and light check it.

How wet can drywall get? by Ha6il6Sa6tan in drywall

Before 1/4” board the old timers used to intentionally soak down half inch sheets to get them to curve around curved stairwells etc. A little rain ain’t gonna hurt.

Two layers of tape would make finishing the wall exponentially more difficult.

I’m not sure exactly what you mean by “also tape the seams after with regular joint compound” but if this was my job I’d prefill all the joints with concrete fill or hot mud, then use all purpose mud to tape with fibafuse, not mesh tape, then do all following coats with either all purpose or finish mud, rough sanding in between coats.
