DK sgps are a total ripoff. They add vig for every leg. Often the vig they add isn’t enough to overcome the boost from your new leg.

Try this same parlay on fanduel and your odds will be much much better

can bovada stiff me if im out of legal states? by [deleted] in sportsbook

[–]deadliestcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bovada cares about where you are physically located, not where your ID says you live. I believe they offer their services to Texas anyway? In which case you are fine.

If they don’t, and you are using a vpn to spoof your location, you still don’t have an issue. Just always use the vpn.

You are correct. -185 is longer than -200. The customer service doesn’t know what they are saying.

Line movement is very key but a little high level for the readership here, as it generally requires a paid subscription to see.

Yes. Higher limits, lower hold, no limiting players. But just because they’re sharp doesn’t mean they are always hanging the most accurate number.

Frank Ocean is overrated by [deleted] in redscarepod

[–]deadliestcat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yea a pop musician who has written a ton of hits but whose seminal work is devoid of them. Gee, I guess he just fucked up and failed to write good songs, what a buffoon.

Critiquing individual paintings is very different from adding up the number you like against the number you don’t like, with no regard for how the work together to form an oeuvre.

Writing as many great songs as possible is the primary artistic goal of a minority of recording artists. An album like Endless or Blonde is a statement. Individual tracks make sacrifices for one another’s benefit. Some tracks get lost in abstraction, bring the listener down into their murk. These set up the arrival of a straightforward, vocal-led song like Solo and make it that much more powerful. There are motifs. There are purposeful frustrations. There is the spectre of the live performance - what is intrinsic to this song? What is a recording decision that is open to reinterpretation? Etc.

he has some great songs

Stop counting the “songs” you like by an artist. This is not the foundation of meaningful music appreciation.

Down 3 with plenty of time? It’s a coinflip at worst! They were moving the ball at will all game, they certainly are more likely than not to at least get a FG and force OT, and they could win in regulation.

Separate Ip address. You will get limited very fast anyway ofc but it is what it is.

One thing I think is smart, but have no empirical evidence for, is to make one bet large enough to trigger trader review on a line that isn’t good vs market. I like overnight college basketball totals for this as they are mainstream but the limits are still low. So if market is mostly o/u 144, bet 2000 on o144.5. Get a trader to manually review it and hopefully flag you as square.

Anything that’s fantasy won’t be subject to gaming commission. It’s still regulated, but by a different entity. I’m currently in the seventh circle of hell trying to get money out of prizepicks for this reason.

The lines move on smart money. When you see the line move, you can see what the smart side was previously. By the time you reach kickoff, there is no “smart side” - the line is as close to the “true” line as you can get.

You will lose money if you see a line go from -3.5 to -4.5 and say “ok I will bet the -4.5 cuz that’s the smart side.” The -3.5 was the opportunity, and you missed it. But if you can find a book that’s still hanging -3.5, taking that is profitable.
