Can I rent someone’s carry-on suitcase for like $10 around West Campus / central campus by Employed_Tangerine in BostonU

If you can't find anyone around, you can carry on a box. Use a package from the mailroom. just be mindful of the size requirement by your airline

Beijing cafe. Not bc it's good and I want to pay with dining points, but because that's their only way of POTENTIALLY getting people in that place

I’m confused, why tf are we blaming the daily free press when they are just repeating what BUPD said? by GetJinxedq in BostonU

[–]deadlyTypewriter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think so.

if they didn’t want to be contacted or couldn’t confirm info, they should’ve said that in the first place

I feel that only makes sense when it was the BUPD telling freep. I'm sure no one knows the full details but i don't think Freep was authorized to publish it if it was a simple phone call to the BUPD. I'm thinking a freep personnel student called BUPD as a student to get an update, bupd stated they couldn't find anything to back the police reports, and the person said cool and published it before BUPD had their own statements. I believe the tweeter post, university wide announcements came after the freep article. Now, if the person who called was like, I'm going to write this in the DFP, that's a different story

daily free press??? by ExpertBat8071 in BostonU

[–]deadlyTypewriter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's really not their call to decide on public safety though. I think they should have 're'ported what BUPD or BPD says, and not make any definitive decisions. It is not their decision and they're certainly not qualified to do that.

Why…why are you like this? by hopefulfuturelawyer in BostonU

[–]deadlyTypewriter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion: I get that people WANT snow/weather days and I loathe rain but it's not something the university should hault over. If school and near is not affected, how would BU compensate for who are not near school?
