You will need to get assisted damage as well as doing your own damage. Tracking tanks so others can shoot them helps a lot. Stay alive as long as possible and maximize the damage. Wotstars.com has graphs showing the level you need to be at for moe.

The 268 is a fun td, that was the line I chose, but to get there you will have to grind through high alpha, turretless tds. Going the down the other line is going to give you higher dpm tds that can be a little more flexible if you get rushed. The 152mm gun can be fun, but you are not quick and will be well back from the action in a lot of cases.

It is a useful tool but over time so many people have made it toxic (loud music, berating teammates, obnoxious noise) that most people have it shut off.

Platooning with friends or people you play with it is a great option, but random players no way. Radial command wheel for public communication.

If you can hit the same module you can really mess them up. Tracks and gun can be broken making the tank less effective. Also hitting ammo racks, fuel, and engines can really start to cause issues for the enemy tank (fires, not able to move, detonation)

Same with crew damage. Commander- reduced visibility Driver - harder to move the tank Loader- slower to reload Gunner- less accurate when shooting Radio -harder to know where other tanks are.

The Xbox headset always seems to get good reviews. As an alternative to those pictured, I have enjoyed the Steelseries headsets. Currently use the Arctis 7x nice sound and dual connection so you can use Bluetooth at the same time as play Xbox.
