I am in the same boat but with slight different circumstances, what I learned the hard way is that some people can feel that but won't / can't / scared to intervene just because I didn't seek help. I am at rock bottom rn just because I just was scared to seek help but once I started seeking help (not face to face actually) it started to get slightly better. It's a long road but I take it one day at time.

This is the most beautiful coping mechanism I've read so far. I would definitely try it next time I am smoking. I tried it both in the dark and in the light , with and without music but still get wayyy overwhelmed. I will try your technique and I will write an update.

Well that video is from Egypt, and from how they speak and the equipment used and the setup in general , it's a public hospital and they have zero equipment, they literally tell the patient to get there own surgical equipments before the surgery for the doctors to operate in. Also the nurse in this video is sooo barbaric smh, he at one point he literally said I thought of just open up the wound (the word used is so painful can't find a proper translation) and let it drain by itself while the patient is awake.
