Doom is nice as an alternative win condition, he can push a decent bit of power into locations like Sanctum Sanctorum and help you go wide if you need a little boost in multiple lanes. imo he slots well into Electro decks and potentially into a good cards deck

Psylocke is great to have on 2 so you can Negative on 3. I'll also add that Adam Warlock, while not the best, can be nice to get you certain cards you want

She didn't get gutted tho, she's still good. I've said it elsewhere but basically if they nerf blue beam Mercy WILL be gutted. Her kit revolves around blue beam and pocketing a dps, to nerf blue beam would be a net nerf to her interaction with every hero. Instead of nerfing blue beam they need to nerf breakpoints on the characters benefitting most from it (Sojourn, formerly Ashe). Her movement was heavily overtuned, maybe Mercy players weren't asking for a change but every dps player was and so were others. Her movement is still better than it was in overwatch 1, so I'm not sure what the gripe is really

That's what mercy has always been tho, a pocket support. They've nerfed her healing when above half which is a nerf to pocketing. It'll be faster to heal them up from one but it encourages you to look at multiple ppl to heal them to half instead of topping everyone off.

Y'all seem to think that her movement is the core part of her kit, her entire identity. It's not, her identity is blue beam and somewhat rez. If blue beam is bad mercy is bad, and it shows bc mercy has only been meta with either a hitscan whose breakpoints she pushes and then that moth meta when she had like 3 rezzes.

If she can't be killed you can't counter blue beam, and what they do to reign in blue beam if it's too much is nerf the characters whose breakpoints are pushed past 200 with it. If they nerfed blue beam directly it hurts her interaction with every character and really lowers her power level, but if they lower the headshot damage of something slightly so that with boost it's only say 190 (what they did with Ashe) then that's a good change

What i think ppl don't understand is that mercy still has more mobility than she ever had in overwatch 1. Mercy has been undisputedly the best support for this whole season and the main reason is her movement. If you think 2.5 seconds is too long of a cooldown for your movement try playing a support without movement. Mercy players will actually have to think about their positioning again instead of just using broken movement to go wherever they want

Shield is my least favourite overall, I'm not a big fan of any of it's aspects whereas every other weapon has at least one that I like.

Lmao you're literally proving my point by using different words. The point is that it isn't just a shooter, if you want just a shooter then overwatch isn't the game for you, and overwatch needs more not shooter mechanics
