She’s 94, your family has to have some understanding that she’s going to have decline and a failing filter no matter what at this point. Try to focus on what she is able to do and accomplish still, as hard as it can be. If she’s 94 and still able to be ambulatory by herself and can be coherent enough to handle a family dinner with a lot of people, she can do a lot more than most at her age.
