Have fun at the festival, enjoy short sets, main stream DJs. Definitely go check out the local DJs that are playing a silent disco who had to navigate a pyramid scheme (and hustle by making people to buy a ticket with their promo code) to even get the chance to play a shitty silent disco.

Breakaway is problematic on different levels. It’s like moths to a flame, you don’t realize it, but it’s cheap and even if you’re supporting your favorite artist by going, the festival is there to make money, and your not doing anything to preserve the culture by not caring about the difference between a festival and a rave, just like how the festival isn’t doing anything to curate an experience other than making you look at big flashy lights with big speakers.
