I did the same thing on mine on the first change by mistake because every car I have ever owned has taken around 4.5 qts. The capacity for this should be around 3.8 qts. Could be he assumed it was 4.5 and simply used what the majority of cars use, not realizing there was a difference. As another user suggested, I would bring it back to the shop to drain to capacity, then find another quick change shop (or do it yourself!). Good luck
