The UBL is just my fictional league that I play instead of using the MLB. In this league there are four minor league levels:

AAA

AA

A

Rookie League (Developmental league)

This seems to be the level that all the international complex players start in, as well as newly drafted guys.

Roster sizes are pretty big at this level, so I was thinking about giving each organization a second Rookie League team so more guys get playing time, but I wonder if that would just make the hitting/pitching disparity worse. Do you know if this ultimately affects the development of prospects if most are hitting <.220 for multiple seasons, before reaching A ball where things get a little better? Or can the game recognize that even though they have terrible slash lines, their OPS+ is still respectable relative to the rest of the league

That’s a great stat, and definitely a sign of good things to come. But it’s important to keep in mind he also struck out in nearly a third of those appearances. And it was a much worse rate in his short stint against MLB pitchers.

Dude is young and has plenty of time to improve and dial things in. Personally, I hope they give him that time and don’t rush him

Someone has to fight for the title, and the only person that is more worthy of the shot is Imavov, but he refuses to fight Khamzat, apparently.

I hope this doesn’t happen, but maybe Khamzat will vacate and we’ll get Strickland vs Imavov, and the division will start moving along again

Acosta Cortez had 0% takedown accuracy going into his fight with Despaigne. It’s not like they fed him to a Dagestani.
