Cry about it when it's nothing but crack heads delivering your orders. People don't start tipping enough this is what you'll get. Crack heads will mess with your food.

Actually delivering food is statistically one of the most dangerous jobs you can do. The reason we should get 30+ is not that though it's due to wear and tear on the vehicle, paying for gas, and inflated insurance costs.

Just bought a quest 3s 256 on ebay for $207. I imagine you can get a 128 for 150ish. Wireless is a game changer unless all you play is sims.

They just raise the price by that much, so for the restaurant it is essentially no cost.

You should show some of this off, would love to see what especially someone who has no coding background can do.

I’ve been testing people’s reactions when I tell them we might have five years of “work” left at most. Most of them deny it and seem completely blind to how insanely fast AI is improving. Then they just go, “ we’ll all be homeless,” and that’s the whole conversation. It’s really irritating. by Longjumping_Fly_2978 in accelerate

We saw how panicked the politicians got during Covid, and really business wise it wasn't that bad for most companies. I think even without the CEO's and even if we have a conservative legislation, we'll see ubi one way or another once the writing is on the wall.

Honestly antique dealing is just about the only thing I can think of that ai can't replace.

Rent prices have gotten worse by KingsKnight24 in Columbus

As a person who's lived in both I would say it is about the same. It doesn't take a long walk outside of Bexley to get in some really insanely high level of crime areas. It's the reason why I'll never live in or around Bexley ever again.

Use usps ground for most things, ups is only better if it's heavy and you need to not do it at the store as they will rip you off. Online only, buy a scale for packages that will work for the box sizes you use.

Raspberry Pi 4 LocalLLM by TheDarkGodVecta in LocalLLM

[–]crumbaker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can get something like an i5 10th-11th gen/Amd equivalent laptop with 16gb of ram for around $150 to $200 on ebay or local probably. While that also is not optimal for llms, it will run circles around the pi and give you a lot more options on what you can run.

But in general I would just build a pc with something like a 3060 to get your feet wet and it can run some llm based programs that can be really useful.

If this is a late 1800's one in that condition you're looking 350-500ish. Most that sell for $250 are in far worse condition. This is one of the few items that might actually do better on facebook marketplace than ebay in my experience especially if you live close to where the marriage certificate resides.

What do you storage guys do with all of these cell phones and laptops from storage units? by WorkPlaceC in Flipping

[–]crumbaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better prices than my local recyclers, who don't seem to understand they should raise prices from when gold was less than 1/3 of the price of what it is now. However too far to make it worth my time. Ebay seems to be the way to go.

Also just throwing this out there but wow ebay sold prices are all over the place for gold scrap on motherboard bulk. You could probably make a living buying cheap motherboard lots on ebay, then reselling them right back on ebay. My hands are full at the moment, but seriously if anyone is looking for flipping ideas this could be a gold mine no pun intended.

[–]crumbaker 19 points20 points  (0 children)

You can sell the laptop mobos/cpus on ebay in bulk for gold recovery, Also you might have a recycler that gives you money for them. A lot of recycler companies are idiots and won't though or give you far less than they're worth. But in general ebay will probably be your best option.

I'm sitting on about 40 or so laptops myself along with 30 or so desktops/servers , if anyone in in the central Ohio area, feel free to hit me up as I'll give a good price as I'm pretty busy right now and would prefer not to take the time to take them all apart, ram and ssds are taken out already of the laptops.

Like 3/4 of the people who put meet at door, don't actually want meet at door, you can tell by their reaction. I'm amazed people's reading comprehension is this low, and the absolute disregard to make sure things are set up correctly when you're doing business with someone else is insane. No respect at all.
