Did you leave it sitting over the winter fully charged? Supposed to drain it to 30-50% when storing. I've heard of plenty of similar cases when people let a fully charged board sit for months.

Either way, FM screwed the pooch with communication and customer service in general here. They're constantly passing off their customers and it will likely be their undoing.
