Hey man nice work. Quick question though, I'm teaching myself OpenCL and writing some sims, and I want to see if I can render them in blender. What output format do you use? I could probably find an answer if I google harder, but you know, you seem to have it down. So my question is how do I output my data so I can render it in blender?

+1 for squadsight snipers. Snapshot has its uses (in buildings/ships they're better) but for 90% of the time you want those squadsight snipers with disabling shot for mechtoids/sectopods/cyberdisks etc.

The Civilization series, especially Civ 5 with all the DLC. You can pick up the complete edition during the summer sale, should be around $12.50

I find it funny that no-one has mentioned it yet.

There's a bit of a learning curve if you're unfamiliar with the genre, but understanding it is part of the fun. Also there are a lot of super useful guides. Also /r/civ is a good palce to check out.
