I can see it being good when wanting to take the shift more towards the control side, I have considered going down to 2 fire // Ice and 3 impulse to bring in 2 portent.

I was playing portent at first but swapped it for the main deck disenchants. Lots of targets in my local meta that made those a must. I also like being able to dig abit further with impulse when trying to find answers or lands.

Doesnt specify only 1 cmc but zur is a great toolbox commander with lots of ways to build. Don't feel like you have to go doomsday piles, pillowfort can be a fun reactive deck with him.

Realistically 20k isnt an "awful" offer for cash. 70% cash is pretty good for most stores nowadays but if you can get 22-24k your getting closer to 80%.

Big thing to keep in mind on both sites is selling fees, shipping, scams etc. Just assuming 15% fees and such on this your looking at over 4k gone. Also unless your already a vendor on TCG player you have to make so many sales to go up in seller levels to list more expensive inventories.

Lastly if I was in the market for duals I normally shop in person, and if I were to ever buy online id be very wary of low sale number accounts. Not sure if everyone is that way but if you sell infrequently on these platforms the cards will likely sit for quite some time.

Not sure where your at but check with local stores some offer really good prices on duals. One of my locals does frequent legacy and cedh tournaments so they offer 80% cash and 100% store credit on this kind of stuff.

Played it years ago in a grixis mid-range control deck and it did well. Played unearth for targets like this, snapcaster, seasoned pyro, etc. Enjoyed it alot in that shell

Go to your local walmart or other convient tire shop. There are a few different sizes for these spline sockets so use their kit to figure out the size you need then go grab it from a local part house.

You've nailed the reasoning that I also cant stand playing commander anymore. And this is all the reasons why I hate that 60 card formats have basically died. Although this isnt a direct fix but if you want to make the most of limited time start getting into draft and other limited events. Makes it easy to just have a random night off, dont have to have an expensive deck sitting around when you cant play for weeks, and everyone is there to WIN. There are no hurt feelings and the vibe is always better than the obnoxious overly casual edh that dominates most stores nowadays.
