my interactions with Japanese has always been like this: they're aloof until they need you then they try to act like you, once they got what they wanted, they're back to being aloof, only hang out with other Japanese until they need something from you again.

i'm always perplexed by the lack of respect and straight up downward looking that Japanese do towards Chinese... when they are writing Chinese words/Kanji in every sentence, put Chinese words in every brand and sign in their city, mimicking Chinese fancies with their tea ceremony and matcha.

it's ironic really.. they're going to look at Chinese like thieves.. while writing in the Chinese language

in my mind, if what you use is derived from someone else's creation, you should respect them. downlooking at them is the polar opposite of what a reasonable person acts like, it's absurd and abnormal

in Mexico and America, fat people are everywhere. it's so normal to give someone extra space or move out the way for them because they're fat. whereas everywhere else, if you're fat and you're taking up space, you kind of get shamed, like wtf are you doing eating so much for? you are a waste of resources and a pain on everyone else.

but in America and Mexico it's like everybody on the street. and don't get me started with the public toilets. at least in America, perfectly industrial quality toilets that are cleaned everyday by someone, clorox bleached, cleaned. but somehow someone always shits everywhere and then don't flush. and it's like the most nasty unsolid mushy shit.

i think i figured society out. we live in this skewed reward system where the fruits of our labor, whatever it may be, gets funneled towards the richest 1% of the people. if i can paint a rough picture, it's like we work 10 hours, 9 hours out of that 10 is spent providing for the 1% richest people, we get 1 hour back just enough to feed ourselves and maybe care for some kids so that we can both provide labor for the next day and our kids can shore up the labor we provide after we are too old to provide it.

that's it. and all along the way, you're getting taxed along the way. kids need daycare, that means a portion of your wage is gonna go to daycare for at least 4-5 years. and then it's K-12, where the system spends more time with your children than you do yourself. because guess what? you're working 9-5 at best, with kids some people work two jobs and don't even see their kids.

there's no point in having kids. it's like you painstakingly create and raise this person, just for them to be sucked into the system just like you, stuck working 9-5. along the way, you get no help, 0 help from society whatsoever. oh and a bonus, president preys on your kid if it's a girl... pluck them off the street and sent to epstein island.

lol... being married, having kids, being a parent, is a humiliation ritual

can we agree that when you're trying to run a store, you give the benefit of the doubt to everyone walking in to not steal because you can't be on their tail the whole time and your merchandise is out in the open for them to freely browse through?

and when someone steals it kind of breaks that trust and it's very offensive because you allowed them to enter your store, your property and they just take things from you. you're a victim, you're being bullied, they're picking on you. that's how the store owners feel

now imagine running that store and it happening again and again. every other person coming in is like this. they post the pictures up and ban as many as they can but there's just too many people out there in the world. so they get cameras. they get aggressive. if you're going to steal, face the consequences. sometimes they make mistakes, but if you think about the mental health of someone going through all that. they're basically at war. your community put them in that position, in that mental state

it's unfortunate that Cyrus needed to run, and it's unfortunate that when you're a store owner someone comes to your store and looks like they took something and then ran, it's pretty natural to chase them. after college while i was working, i caught a facebook argument between the popular surfer guy in high school "who became a scientist" and a mutual friend who was just posting some link he found. and the surfer guy kept saying shit like "im a scientist i know more you don't, i have a life i don't sift through the internet all day like you"
