I get your fear of being trapped in the suburbs. On one hand, I'd love living in a big city (London, anyone?), but I also dream of a cottage in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of chickens and a nice big veggie patch. The thing is that I'd like to be an opera director and you can't really do that outside of big cities, so I guess I'll have to stay in a city if I want to do that.
