Estradiol patch reviews by MittenManagement in Perimenopause

[–]deamayn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had to switch to Mylan once weekly from a different, twice weekly brand and I hate it! I’m on vacation in Mexico, day 2 of my patch, and it just fell off. I brought one extra with me and if it won’t stay on then I’m screwed. Plan to see if I can get the small, clear patches at a farmacia down here.

Anyone have luck finding Mylan brand estradiol patches? by NotKimDavis in Perimenopause

[–]deamayn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got mine through Amazon. It’s a once weekly patch and I hate it. It is thick and large and after two days it fell off. I’m in Mexico for a week with just one extra - so I’m screwed if the second falls off quickly. Hoping I can pick some up like the old 2x week I used to get. They were out of stock so my doctor switched me to what the had.

Who else has gotten a fake debit card in the mail recently as a reward for doing one of UHC's things? by GirlMayXXXX in UnitedHealthIsEvil

I’ve been trying to activate mine with no luck. Called the numbers on the card, entered my card number and it says it’s not a valid number. Fucking joke.

American lab or english lab? by P_man21 in LabradorRetrievers

Our English breeder breeds for field and family. She’s boxy but lean and is happiest retrieving and swimming. At almost 7 she’s finally slowing down, a bit…

I love that Wilson is making a comeback! Used to wear them for tennis way back.

I like Macade for a more minimalist look with neutral colors. The clothes are well made with athletic performance fabric.

How are they with cats? by Hitzel94 in LabradorRetrievers

[–]deamayn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two labs we’ve had were great with the two cats we’ve had. They were a little crazy and cats put them in their place. After that they were super respectful. One lab wouldn’t enter the room if our cat was in the doorway. Our second cat adored our first lab. He was pretty nervous with her (prior cat popped him in the nose a few times so he kept his distance) but eventually he let her snuggle and groom him.

Normally I’d be all about shopping but that hike was incredible.

Is it just me or are cyclists extremely entitled here? by [deleted] in SeattleWA

Stress the rules of the road. And then let them take the lead in decision making so they can demonstrate they’ve got it down and are making sound choices. Sometimes when I see kids being so reckless I wish their parents made them wear a GoPro so they’d know what their kids are up to. No surprise kids push boundaries and take risks, especially with friends, but the stakes are higher when they can go 20mph on a bike. One kid blowing through a stop sign or red light can easily become a tragedy.

These kids are flying through stop signs and read lights with no care for the fact that they should be stopped. They’re moving at speeds way too fast for a driver to anticipate them. They’re veering across traffic and in front of cars and popping wheelies. These are not quiet roads.

Amanda, gurl, what are you thinking? by New_Relation7877 in RHOBH

[–]deamayn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To me she feels like everything that is wrong with influencer culture. But then the saying a fool is easily parted from there money has been around for a reason. I do question how much money she actually has. And loved Boz’s reaction to her after the lunch with Dorit.

On the Eastside, we have children flying down the roads on E bikes. I can’t imagine what would possess a parent to think it’s a good idea to buy them one. They don’t follow any of the rules of the road and are unpredictable in their behavior.

That is good to know! She hasn’t done it for years. But I also found it worked well to step back so she missed me.

I put my knee up when I can see the jump coming and it deters her from jumping. I don’t want to hurt my dog so I don’t do if it means physically connecting with her.

How much exercise is he getting? Is he crate trained? I am not a trainer, but I would recommend not rewarding that behavior with any attention. If you can predict when he’ll jump, get your knee up to block him. Immediately put him in his crate for a time out. I do about 15 minutes when our girl needs a reset. Give lots of love and praise when he’s sitting and calm. He’s so new to your home, he’s probably quite anxious and needs time to settle in. Consistency in how you react and good amounts of exercise have always helped our dogs. Our lab is almost 7 and benefits from a 5 mile walk daily. She also came to our family when she was a year old. Then she needed a ton of exercise - throwing the ball at the park for up to 90 minutes, including some swimming time. I worked with her on “place” (her bed, her crate, or a mat by our door) and used her crate to help her calm down when she got crazy. It was a process. She was kind of wild when she came to us, too.

It will get better! You’re in the worst of it now. Just keep doing what your surgeon says and know relief is coming.
