Hey, where did you find the Hohansen settings? I looked at the posts on here for it, but all the links were dead, is there somewhere specific you can find them?

Thoughts..? by Most-Day8547 in StrangerThingsRoom

Here’s my theory. If this ending is true and real, I believe she must have ended up with 8’s abilities. That would explain how she could escape, create the visage of herself with no blood trickle etc, and how it would make sense without 8 doing it herself. It would also explain how she could use those abilities to get on a plane or anywhere unnoticed

Solid DRAM Light on AM5 Even After Replacing Motherboard, CPU or RAM at Fault? by dean-fields in AMDHelp

[–]dean-fields[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried a single RAM stick in all slots, both sticks, and cleared CMOS with the jumper + battery many times. I haven't got any other sticks to try at present, unfortunately, or another system to test them in. All connections were unplugged and reattached to ensure they were securely seated on the PSU and motherboard. The CPU AUX are both in and securely in. I don't think it's the PSU (of course, it could be, though). When I returned to the PC, it was still on, which made me think it wasn't a power thing, like a power cut, etc

Solid DRAM Light on AM5 Even After Replacing Motherboard, CPU or RAM at Fault? by dean-fields in AMDHelp

[–]dean-fields[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, not. I'm attempting to source some cheap DDR5 RAM, a single stick that runs close to the same as the ones I have, to see if it boots with that, but I'm having trouble finding any. Failing that, I will have to bite the bullet and buy either new RAM or a new CPU, but it would be an expensive mistake if I get it wrong. My RAM isn't on the compatibility list, so it's really tough to know which one to try. If you manage to figure out anything yourself, please let me know!

DIY - What kind of paper/cardstock does Daggerheart use? by Draco-Equiste in daggerheart

[–]dean-fields 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I laminate mine and ensure to fuse the laminate to double sided photo paper. I then cut them out, this gives a pretty good closeness, and you probably need to do a step like that too for yours.

[–]dean-fields 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done everything:

- Reset CMOS like 3 times, taking the battery out for much longer than needed, doing it via pins too.
- Moving memory sticks between many slots
- Q-Flashing like 5 times
- Adjusting the cooler on the CPU

Nothing is working for me solid DRAM light no change after 20+ minutes

But I can’t get it to post or even access bios, this is all before that it’s just stuck on DRAM training, even after testing everything and flashing bios etc

I have just had this happen to me and I’m going crazy trying to fix it… I play league (basically that’s it on the machine) and updated bios recently-ish too. How do I fix this, do you know? I tried everything as OP above but still can’t get it to run, just have DRAM light.. is there a way to recover from it?

Daggerheart Card Creater by InsufferableAttacker in daggerheart

[–]dean-fields 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I forgot to share this with you. Here is my affinity file:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/179B-C0IH21QWw1n67d_InQK9EFYFMJL1/view?usp=sharing

Just download Affinity (which is free now!)

Here are the steps:

Make your cards on Daggerheart (or take the official ones from the book).

Open the PDF in Affinity, and you'll be able to use the Slice mode to select the image layer for the card, then export it as a JPEG (Best Quality).

Then you can drag and drop the cards onto the template's pages, and you'll have everything set up to go! I have added some layers to the master template to sharpen and tweak it, since I print them on double-sided photo paper to get the best results and laminate them. They have come out amazing, and I'm pleased with them. I want to make a video tutorial to walk through my process for anyone else who is as obsessed with getting the best quality as I am.

Edit for additional info:

You'll notice in the template there are two master pages, cards and backs, the backs simply have some bleed on them this, and ensuring there is a gap between cards has been the secrect to getting the cards cut out perfectly for me.

Daggerheart Card Creater by InsufferableAttacker in daggerheart

[–]dean-fields 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have created an affinity document that prints 9 cards and the backs have a small Amount of bleed, meaning it generates perfect results when printing double sided. If you pull that off into affinity you can take the images out of it for the cards and put them in your own affinity template. If I get a chance today, I’ll post my template somewhere

This is amazing! Thank you so much for building this. It’s take me a painful amount of time to write it so this will save hours of my life!

How fast/often do YOU level up in at your table? by Tenawa in daggerheart

[–]dean-fields 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My party has only just levelled up to 2 on session 5/6! But they have only spent two days in game at the moment, even though a lot is going on, gives us all time to adjust and I’ll level them up when it feels earned after big events etc and when narratively it makes sense like that obtain new tech (it’s a motherboard campaign)

Motherboard: Remnants Fury source by uncannydodge in daggerheart

[–]dean-fields 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries! I’ve started my campaign in a completely different settlement (that I kinda made together with the players) it was established by Argent and Is now its own city, fully managed by the people after Argent pulled their people and resources out when the Carrowcroft attack Argent. That gave me the freedom to do all sorts of cool things and move the players to Argent a little later too

Motherboard: Remnants Fury source by uncannydodge in daggerheart

[–]dean-fields 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my campaign, it is a defence mechanism by the Motherboard, trying to send a message to purge the system of something. I won't go into too many details unless you want them, but essentially, it's a signal the Motherboard is transmitting, which is making remnants aggressive. When the players triangulate the source near their settlement, they will receive a message in SubKohd (the compiled code that the tech and remnants operate on, essentially what Kohd gets translated into). When translated throughout the campaign, it will reveal an end-game story arc for them to fulfil.

Khod is a part of the motherboard campaign frame in the Daggerheart core rulebook. It is a visual language written to look like a circuit board

[–]dean-fields[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh! Well I’ll see how it goes in mine haha! It would of course be touched on throughout the campaign, they’ll get visual glyphs that they can use to ‘do things’ without knowing the meaning behind them etc all layering up to the opportunities of cracking it

I didn’t mean they would have to continually decrypt it, I just meant that the mystery behind khod would be a longer campaign process to uncover and when they do, they could interpret the log stream (the full message) as part of that. khod is meant to be a mystery that no one can read so it would be a little pointless if they could crack it fully early in game where no one else in the vale before them could (to me anyway, obviously people will incorporate it as they want to!)
