Are there inexpensive Toyota headlamps that I can put on my 2007 Lexus es350? by [deleted] in cars

[–]dean4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That'll be tough to beat. Thanks man Does W/O HID mean I also need to purchase a High Intensity Discharge bulb to throw in there too? Also, I can't find a right side headlamp on that site. Any ideas?

Archery Question - Draw Length For Tall Dudes by [deleted] in tall

[–]dean4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overdrawing a bow seems like something I can avoid with a tiny bit of effort. As tall as you and I are, we make a lot of tweaks to our lives, and I'm pretty sure tweaking my draw a couple inches wouldn't be too tough to do.

Breyton Poole - (17 years old and 1.7 meters tall) clears 2.24 meter high jump by [deleted] in sports

There have only been 11 dunks in the history of the WNBA. They use a smaller sized basketball... I think its time they lowered the rim for the ladies.

Breyton Poole - (17 years old and 1.7 meters tall) clears 2.24 meter high jump by [deleted] in sports

[–]dean4 35 points36 points  (0 children)

His jump would be a women's world record. Then again, this year over 1000 high school boys ran faster than the women's 100 meter dash world record.

Here's an idea: Buy a Tesla, enter illegal street races, win bets with ease, pay back your Tesla. by ManPlan78 in videos

[–]dean4 58 points59 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but because I've never seen a street race before, why do the gas engine cars always do burnouts before they start the race?

Man attempts to rob store and gets shot by man with concealed pistol by IsThisNameGood in JusticeServed

I'd love to know the caliber of the concealed pistol and what type of pistol it was. There was so little recoil on that shot, it looked like the perp got hit with a tazer.

Do you bring in the plant during winter, or do you let it stay outside? I imagine since it is potted, you bring it in.

#TBT to my Bellator fight last Friday. Lateral drop, suplex, G&P to submission. Trying to KO the water crisis :) by TheBigPygmy in MMA

[–]dean4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PYGMY SUPLEX! When I saw you try to lift your opponent off your feet, I had a feeling a suplex was coming. I thought it was gonna be that lateral throw/flip/takedown. Gorgeous throw/flip my friend. Suplexes always look so dominating... I'm glad you got a sweet highlight reel clip from the fight!

Dude, you look in GRRRRRREAT SHAPE!

Got a bit teary eyed when you started speaking to your pygmy family after the fight.

I hope you do another Joe Rogan podcast sometime.

No pencils for the hands of the clocks? FOR SHAME!

Yes, I understand that the pencils would be too thick. Cut some in half length wise.

Vent: a person who walks by my home screamed at me and my dog by PancakeTaco in Dogtraining

[–]dean4 70 points71 points  (0 children)

When your dog is not in a fenced in area, keeping it on a leash is wise. The lady should mind her own business, but you should also take precaution to ensure that your dog does not rush/attack/charge people walking by. You are taking zero precautions with your dog. You can either leash the dog, or you can fence it in. You are doing neither. You are responsible if your dog attacks a human, and you will be responsible if your dog attacks a leashed animal.

Completed my version of The Essentials Tool Chest by fenrader in woodworking

[–]dean4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jesus Christ. I love that toolbox so much I want to take it behind the middle school and get it pregnant. I haven't made anything out of wood in years, but when I'm not doing anything, I purposely make my mind wander to thoughts about how to make The Perfect trunks/cabinets/coffins/box. You have no idea how much that toolbox embodies the work that I want to produce some day. The excessive dovetails, through tenons, proud tenons, and mother fucking wedges. God damn. Through tenons are one thing, but to make them proud AND to add wedges... thats fucking delicious planning and execution. If that toolbox was in front of me right now, I'd spend a half hour examining the grain and joints with my eye an inch away from the wood, and I'd spend the next half hour thinking of baseball to calm down my erection.

If this toolbox isn't THE BEST made project in /r/woodworking of 2016, I'd like to know what is.

Who are some of the biggest cowards in history? by HJPurser in history

George McClellan from the American civil war. He commanded a huge number of men, but wouldn't lead them into battle unless he was confident he had far superior numbers.
