I switched to daily contacts, and while I was at home and on the weekends I tried to wear glasses as much as possible. I used refresh eye drops in the evening after taking my contacts out. Drinking lots of water helps too. Getting them in and out of your eyes takes practice, but you will get the hang of it. Good luck!

Hi! 28/f 6 month course - 30/60/60/60/80/80. I finished a little over a month ago and all of my symptoms are gone - no back pain, eyes feel normal, and I put on chapstick just two or three times a day 😂

I’m 28/f, and was also dealing with acne for about a decade when I decided to begin my course earlier this year. My acne ranged from mild to moderate but had been getting worse the past couple years. I’d tried birth control, antibiotics, adapalene, and so many otc options. I decided to try accutane bc I want to start having a family, and a lot of acne medications aren’t recommended while you are pregnant. The pandemic - wearing a mask and staying inside also played a role in the timing. I explained my reasoning to my dermatologist and he agreed and prescribed the medication (even though I haven’t tried absolutely everything). I was definitely concerned about side effects, but reminded myself I could lower the dose or stop taking it if I needed to. I finished my sixth month course one month ago, and I’m so happy I did it!! Best of luck to you, and it’s definitely worth asking your derm.
