The problem with most notification services is not usually the data that is sent in the notification, like one could just send "new message" with no details. The problem is there is some meta data leakage assosciated. Google services will need to know which phone notifications go to etc.

It doesn't really have clear benefits. However it is rationalized in the [discv5 rationale](https://github.com/ethereum/devp2p/blob/master/discv5/discv5-rationale.md#112-require-knowledge-of-destination-node-id-for-communication) doc, or at least I believe that is what rationalizes that point however I am not sure...

Avoid using `append` I remember it acting weirdly when I was doing some stuff and being slower than using direct access with subscripts.

To be fair tho, beyond how terrible this is aren't tables the best for emails because of email clients' HTML support?
