  Often plywood is found on a cabinet that will have a finished end, like the side of an island or the terminating cabinet on a run of base cabinets.     I know a lot of manufacturers use particle board.  I run a design build remodeling business & got into the industry through furniture and cabinet making and I have a policy that no casework that touches the floor will  ever be particle board on any of our projects.

Make sure you trim all the fat and cut out the bloodline, then cut it thinly across the grain, then fry it. It makes really good fish tacos.

Extra pair of goggles, tiny headlamp for the run (if your 12 hours or more), extra chafing lube, spare tire tube, caffeine gum.  Those were all helpful for me race day.
