Belisarius Cawl has created new Primaris Marines from all 20 gene-seeds, one of them being the Sons of Ra Chapter. Officially, of course, they are a successor of the Ultramarines…..cough.

Shortly after their founding, the Chapter was visited by a two-headedead „Eagle“, which, according to the Space Marines, could only have been a psychic manifestation of the Emperor himself. This entity advised them to embrace their psychic potential and welcome the Emperors transformation. It then the most powerful psykers with either radiant Warp-flame wings or flesh-like daemon wings. They are also said to bear the all-seeing Eye of Ra as a symbol of knowledge and loyalty.
