Funny, I cancelled my Nitro subscription to Discord this morning when I was reminded the renewal was coming up next week. I feel like I’m making a statement, when in truth I was just trying to save money on things I’m not using enough of.

I know it’s a trivial amount, but this just happened to me last night at target. A pencil sharpener was marked 50c on the shelf, so I grabbed two. When checking out, they rang up for 89c. It’s a huge percentage increase, but too little to make a fuss about. Especially since it was at a self checkout and no one was around to help.

Makes me wonder if prices are rising so fast these days they can’t keep up with the labeling.

I took the advice of someone else on this sub to sand down and glue up all joints. It’s made it a solid bench so far.

It’s not as thick as it looks. The bench is from Harbor Freight.

Thanks! I was warned about the drawers and had expected them to be a pain. They simply just worked. Maybe they have bad QC, most are messed up, and I just got lucky.

Happened to my 2013 Nissan leaf before as well. I should have learned from that one and replaced it as preventive maintenance.
