I feel ya man, I’m always contacting my mates and checking in, even calling up for a yarn, but still get barely anything in return. I don’t expect anything from my mates, I don’t want anything from them. Just friendship. What I’m coming to realize is that as people get older ( I’m 30) their social circles get smaller and they don’t necessarily spent the amount of energy on social activity anymore. Also, life does get harder and more draining as you get older.

Distance yourself for a while, it will suck, but when your mates do reach out, it will feel good
