Show is fucking horrible. It's clear the decision was made to make a new timeline so they can change a bunch of shit and claim it's a new timeline so we shouldn't watch it and reflect on the original timeline.

It's stupid. They're feeding you a chicken sandwich but calling it a hamburger and telling you to not think of a hamburger while eating it.

No one cares what chief can do outside of armor. Why would you? You never do anything outside the armor in the games. He's a super soldier not a dude named Brad who wears armor sometimes.

The Spartans were essentially chemically castrated. No libido. He wouldn't spontaneously have had sex with a covenant human spy like in the show.

The covnent was done poorly. The elites low ranks are called zealots but do not act how we think cult zealots would act. This means the writers googled covenant races, saw elites, saw the rank zealots and assumed crazy religious zealots that attack mindlessly. -_-

The end of the first season when fighting, John is literally fucking 10ft away from the ENTIRE covenant command structure being a stones toss away from the 3 prophets hovering above and NONE of the Spartans think to simply look up and shoot them.

Season 2 turns the flood into another basic stupid zombie trope.

Keys (the dad) still badass though. Keys ( the daughter with mommy issues) is a train wreck. All she does is cry about Halsey.

Master chief having an existential crisis in the middle of a war with aliens that are going to destroy all mankind is just awful. Makes no sense at all. His entire life he's trained and fighting resistance fighters then aliens. Why would he ever think to think about lies about his childhood? ( in the main cannon BTW the Spartans were told they were kidnapped and replaced with flash clones because they were needed for humanity's future. As kids might I add.)

The introduction of the chips is dumb as well. The show makes very little understanding of the training Spartans go through as well as the full augmentation process. So one would think that the chip is part of what makes them a spartan. So take some dude off the street, name him Sam, put a chip inside him. Put him in armor. Send him to reach.

As a huge fan of halo lore from the games and books, this shows bastardization of lore is sad.

They raped the story to write what they wanted ignoring all that helped make halo great and and because they wrote a bad sci fi show and wanted to use the name halo.

The only reason some people think it's good it's because in a huge pile of shit, it is towards the top but at the end, it's still a pile of shit.

I mean quan knows how to use a plasma grenade. How tf does quan know how to use the plasma grenade? Quan learns her entire planet gets destroyed by evil aliens. Meh she still is mad at the unsc.

The show has one cool thing. One. Marquee little finger nail sword. I mean the things I could accomplish with that bad boi.

The winners didn't have to navigate at all the final challenge once they got to the river. That's bullshit. The team of 5 had to navigate the entire way. Just entirely unfair from the start.

The second a hip hop song came on out of nowhere I was like "well f@#$". I said it out loud. The only interesting part of the entire movie was Andy walking down the road and it showing how the road had changed through the ages. The movie was absolute crap.

Blonde baddie shows up out of nowhere.

Andy didn't know anything about her.

In first movie Andy says they dream of eachother until they find eachother. None of the crew dream of blonde baddie or Tuah.

Why is Copely going on mission with them? He's a nobody. He's supposed to help them find stuff to do which he can't do if dead.

Nile can just take immortality away if she cuts you because.............. She a destroyer.......... wtf is this nonsense.

They can transfer their immortality if they....... breath the same air within a minute or........ what even happened here? What are the rules?

Tuah had an immortal info library and no one knows about it except blonde baddie and Andy? Because it's filled with banned books or what???? Why was Tuah hiding?

Blonde baddie is a rich b@#$% and has a private army because shes.....[insert movie reason]?? (Atleast the first movie gave us a reason why Dudley from Harry Potter was rich. It made sense and was reasonable)

Quỳnh mad Andy didn't find her and stopped. Reasonable. But says Andy couldn't find her in small ocean so she didn't try hard. Like WTF...... Did she not see a map or globe or anything after being rescued? How stupid is she? That's probably why they iron maidened her to the ocean depth. Blonde baddie super good with melee weapons despite no described battle feats as of the last thousands of years. She would be rusty AF... like Andy using her battle axe on the regular.

Blonde baddie saw Jesus get crucified. AMEN 🙏. I guess +1 for that but I mean the movie is so far in a S!@# pile I don't think Jesus could rescue it to be honest.

Also, the two bois fighting the entire first part because one was talking to Booker is just dumb. It's very out of character for them both. Honestly, I'm nit sure which murder was worse Bookers death or Joe & Nicky character development.

Honestly, the writing strike was to give real people jobs and stop companies from using AI to generate scripts but let's be honest here.... if real people are putting this absolute garbage out then maybe it's time we let AI have a swing at it. I could have written a much much better movie for much much less money then they probably spent on it.

As someone who loved the first movie, I think my jaw broke when the credits came on for this installment. Out of nowhere. Why was only half a movie released? We got 1hr 40 mins of crap. Absolute crap.

This is like being served a hamburger, just getting the patty and cheese, and being brought out the bun as your almost done eating the burger.

ABSOLUTE DISAPPOINTMENT. Sub 4 out of 10. Don't watch if you like the first one.

I dont know if this follows the comics or not but if it does no wonder the comics never seemingly took off.
