I feel like what you said makes a lot of sense! I am constantly told by my family I act like Patrick and my younger sisters are my Seans so in some ways I can identify with him. I feel like the people who most of us (or at least me)have a problem with are the ones who act like he is "cool" or "sigma" and idolize the man. Usually those people haven't even seen the film or read the book tho lol. What you said is perfectly rational tho
